Morphology

Located at an altitude between 1,600 and 2,200 meters above sea level, the Cauca Valley's hilly area extends parallel to the Pacific Coast. It is considered one of the most fertile places in Colombia. Thanks to its soil's specific properties and favorable climatic conditions, it is ideal for avocado production.

Previously, the land cultivated today by AGRICOLA PERSEA was dedicated to extensive cattle grazing where silt and deep soils predominate. The soil has a mixture of organic matter and abundant nutrients that enhance the crop.
